If you don't an Apple TV, but do have the HDMI adapter, will it work the same with these games/apps?

The #1 post on Reddit right now is of a voting machine that keeps changing the vote to Romney. Basically the touch area around Obama selects Romney. I forget what state it's in. The story is blowing up pretty fast though.

It kind of seems like you are rating Apple as a whole over your dealings with a single Apple Store employee.
This will not work well. Why not just have a drawing app that duplicates the line and gives you options to adjust the effect. Are they forgetting that a tablet is a computer? This would make much more sense if it were just markers taped together.
