I agree with the description of Aziz Ansari, " smart, more than a little manic, and enthusiastically contemporary." I'm sure it's no accident that "funny" wasn't included. The guy provides no laughs, only an occaisional chuckle of recognition.

I agree. And I can't wait until they kill of Lizzie. She is horrible. I can suspend my disbelief with the best of them, but she is such a weak actress I have to fast forward when ever she is on the screen without Spader.
Bruce also wrote some great songs that ended up with Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes like "The Fever" and "Trapped Again".
Isn't some of this mitigated by the fact that they are still together over 20 years later?

FWIW, on a recent WTF podcast Van Dyke said it was Reiner's decision to end the DVDS. Dick thought the show had plenty of life left.
