I never thought I’d be so invested in a fighting game’s story mode til these recent MK games. I was a Raiden main before, but these installments just validated all that.

I have no problem waiting, since I picked this game up second hand for $5... but yeah, I’ll keep it in the backlog til then, because I won’t be able to take any lost time back on an abandoned project, which is a harsh word to describe this as, but the article already explained that.

Just as long as we get to have 4 player couch co-op, I don't care if we're having the final battle on a rainbow, it just better be fun.

Just an opinion here, but permanent damn death will save it. Maybe by raising the stakes, it’ll give proper stories. Real chronological aging of the characters (as with Constantine) would be a nice touch. It’s just boring to read about these things when some cosmic McGuffin will always reset the whole thing.…
