The effects of Ice King's crown seem a little inconsistent. It's usually supposed to screw up people when they wear it. Jake wore it in one episode and it didn't affect him because he already has magic powers but as far as I could tell he didnt gain any powers either. In this episode, Abracadaniel wore it and it didnt

I agree wholeheartedly. This episode is comparable to Mystery Dungeon in that it used minor characters to drive the story. while Mystery Dungeon worked because the characters had well defined personalities, this episode failed because all the characters were so one dimensional.

This was a fun episode with plenty of laughs, at least B+ material. The part with Skips' friends laying down some PUA moves was classic and Rigby was really on his game tonight.

That's really giving her the benefit of the doubt but since the alternative is seriously out of character then I guess it works.

Marceline was clearly the biggest villain of the episode. She sells F+J out of house and home for a freaking bass? Not cool.
I enjoyed this one, the characterisaion of the pups so far has been great and we need to see more of them. I feel like Jake was more stupid than usual which was sort of annoying but I understand

Not a terrible 11 minutes, but disappointing considering the standard this season has set. At least next weeks episode about Skips dating again should be fun.

It's not really fair to list Nicholas Cage, he's miscast in any possible role that is not a parody of himself.

Gotta get in tune with Sailor Moon
Cause the cartoon has got the boom anime babes

Meh episode, the whole "Rigby tries to do a job himself and screws it up" theme was already perfected back in Season 1's Meat Your Maker. Rigby's character should really have evolved more by this point. Benson's car getting destroyed also loses its impact after the millionth time. The gag with Eileen giving Rigby a

This would only bother me if both Oliver and Alisdair graded on the same scale, which they obviously don't.

What the hell did they do to Maja's eyes? She looked way better before. Still, it was nice they finally brought her back and obviously they are not done with her. I like that she's more of a villain to PB than to Finn and Jake. Speaking of cool female characters returning, when is Samantha the dog coming back?

Yeah it's been said a million times but the 11 minute running time is just not enough to tell stories like this. The disappointing thing is that the show rarely does anything resembling a long story arc so a lot of great ideas suffer due to the confined time. In today's instalment, the main battle was over extremely

Another great episode. It was fun to see an episode that was all about Benson without M&R having much spotlight. The running gag that started in Over The Top of Benson being wasted at Wing Kingdom is never not funny.

"From a humor perspective, the Pie sequels get staler and staler"
Staler? You just couldn't resist, could you?

One of the things this show has really improved on is the ending gags. They used to rely on the 'here we go again' gag all the time and it got annoying.

Jeez that was a great episode, considering how much RS loves the 80s I'm surprised we hadn't already gotten a surfing episode. When I saw the preview I was expecting a pretty by the numbers episode but this was easily one of the funniest of the season.

It's interesting how over the run of the show how the main characters went from being fully developed to walking punch lines while some of the one joke characters, like Troy, were made more three dimensional through episodes like this.

Gotta give this an A. Consistently entertaining thorughout and the CJ date was handled nicely. Thomas the baby was the star of the episode and I seriously wouldn't mind him coming back again if they give him some quality material like they did tonight. Rigby hanging out with Eileen was a nice touch as well.

Wow, they're not even bothering to be subtle anymore. Just change the show's title to Puberty Time already and be done with it.

Of course, in a tragic clown sort of way.
