Brady/Jordan always playing for the same org/team is a valid reason to doubt their GOAT-ness.

Always a star for referencing applicable NPR podcasts!

I did not estimate sales; I responded to your statement now quoted twice: “Except you know, if they sell 500,000 copies that’s an extra million dollars in profit.” That’s not a true statement as I proved above.

Let me be clear: I don’t play the metro series nor do I prefer steam. I was merely describing a very real phenomenon in sales known as disruption. For people who have invested in steam, particularly those who purchased the first two in the series, it is a valid complaint to only be able to finish on a brand new,

Except you know, if they sell 500,000 copies that’s an extra million dollars in profit.

It’s cheaper for the consumer on Epic!

because they are trying to foster viable competition?

For many people it’s Steam or GTFO. $10 less is meaningless if it means keeping up with another library for games.

Deep Silver isn’t passing up on profit. They’re admitting that they cannot sell as many units on epic as steam without offering a 16.667% discount. It's a risk without much outwardly known reward.

Here’s what I don’t get Bob -

Maybe this would be a better example of what you’re suggesting if it didn’t come with a $10 discount?

Steam purportedly makes 30% on the sale. $60-18= $42.

...but you must also be aware of how expensive it is to develop games.

What all these teams have in common is that they’re winners.

Having a curfew for children is one thing, but for one adult to impose a curfew on another adult is a different thing entirely.

I see what you mean. I was trying to be concise but that’s almost impossible with taxes. I was responding to the OP that it’s not always possible to not get a refund with your employer pays in bonuses that are withheld at that 22% federal rate. Their assertion “if you’re getting a refund you’re doing it wrong” was

Once again, if you are getting a refund you are doing it wrong.

I think Taxes had your number. You’re complaining about the change to the Federal Tax code that typically favors constituents not considered “conservative.” Local taxation rates should have nothing to do with the Federal Tax Code and should be removed as a deduction altogether.

I don’t think it’s always a trust thing. As someone stated up-thread there are things good house guests are expected to do. Young adults may choose to keep later hours than their parents but stumbling in drunk at 2AM is only acceptable at 1) the young adult’s own house or 2) a rental that the young adult has paid the

Which already happens in the current system. Many minorities in both parties (like the Tea Party when the (R)‘s controlled the house/senate/WH) can cripple the party in power or something with bipartisan support.
