@rick23: It's always bothered me that we have any number of hand gestures to communicate anger, but none (that I know of) to say "sorry".

@cletar: I don't mind the idea of a 'franchise', so long as Hollywood doesn't fall back on the same characters and stories again and again. There are plenty of worthwhile stories to be told in a world with Terminators/Aliens, so long as you have good writers with an ounce of imagination.
@Jay3: I totally agree. In a way, I feel the same way about Aliens. Ripley's story should have ended there, with at least the possibility of a 'happy' ending with Newt and Hicks. Later Alien films should've used a new protagonist.
@cletar: Y'know, I'd be curious to see an ET: Reborn with Ed Norton as John Connor. ;)
@ManchuCandidate: How about remaking Automan as a reverse Tron world where the programs can manifest in our world?
@AuntBabe: Loved that movie growing up! Loved it more when I got to high school and read Hamlet. :) Good call!
@Eric Geller: Not when the shade of Sir Alec Guinness pilots it as "Prince Feisal" in Lucas' recreation of Lawrence of Arabia...
@jasonchlebus: I was going to say "Being a completely different movie", but I like your answer, too.
@LegacyCrono: Or WhereFour (as in WhereFore, as in Why, as in Why Anyone Would Want To Do This).
@AlTillyTheBum: To be fair, no one would think to look there. On the other hand, Edneyville = Gotham City?
@Eric Geller: Wouldn't they? I mean, the price of dead stars would skyrocket if their estates found out that George "Gold Sandspeeder" Lucas was looking to buy.
@Rusty Hawk: Crossovers used to be a rare and magical thing, like a unicorn with pornography. Now it's all too common, like pornography with unicorns.
Wow, "Professor Drinkwater" just became my newest 'mad' scientist character. Thanks to the "melting rocks with the sun" clip, I even have his catchphrase, "Oh, my life!"
@NaraDance: Absolutely agree! I have all my favorite Discworld books on Kindle now, and I've reread them (particularly the City Watch series, von Lipwig's two, and Small Gods) several times each in the past year.
@FrankN.Stein: I'll be in my bunk...
@mean_mr_mustard: The game would have been fine if Wally Wick here hadn't shut off the containment grid...
@wrackune: I loved that game. :)
Y'know, this cinches it. I've always wanted to set up a focusing mirror on top of the Luxor light:
@blueTitanium: I was thinking I may have to build something like this in a nice riveted copper motif...
@Kyosuke_Nanbu: Exactly! The jokes aren't there for the characters to acknowledge and find funny. They're there for us, the viewers, to react to and laugh at!
