TIS I!
I had a roommate that made sims of myself and my then girlfriend. She dumped me. Our sims got married. I had never before been jealous of a sequence of ones and zeros. It was a weird feeling.
I love the animated episode that the fans did for this as well. Such legit rage.
Here is a pretty accurate overview of the game.
I’m surprised there hasn’t been an Armored Core game for this console generation. AC has been released on every Sony gaming device except the PS4.
If I had to choose between a game that’s actually enjoyable to play, moment to moment but has a weak (?) story, versus a game that insults me as a player, asking ‘hold up as spectacle happens because we don’t trust you to have fun, and you’ll ruin our Important Story’ - sign me up for the former.
It’s almost like we’d expect “journalists” to... oh, I don’t know... Research what they are writing about?

My favorite so far:
I’ll take a schmaltzy show done well over the smug irony that permeates modern TV comedy any day.
I’m seeing a lot of:
Wow, aortic dissection is... no joke. I’m glad to hear that he’s seemingly out of the woods though.
For all my bloviations, words generally fail me at a time like this, as they often feel hollow—and almost always fail to convey the depth of what I’m feeling at the moment.
Still, gonna try:
Fahey, you’re the sort of writer I want to be at some point in my life. You seem to take genuine joy in your work, and rather than…
If it’s felt like something has been missing from Kotaku for the last month, that’s because someone wonderful has…
God of War II is arguably a better game than the first one; it features solid iterative improvements to all of the systems available in the first game, and it adds some fun new twists to existing gameplay models.
By the time they got around to III, the formula had just started to feel like, “Holy shit, how long can…
