I’m picturing an army of Musk fans materializing to form a giant pile and break his fall, while saying he’s a genius for finally disproving the theory of gravity.

So when does Elmo start getting visits from Saudi bone saws over the loss of their investment?
Nope...Nope...just Nope. Martin Brundle is about as useful as Daryl Waltrip yelling “Boogity-Boogity-Boogity, Let’s Go Racing Boys!!!” at the beginning of the NASCAR races and that damn cartoon gopher that they used to show. Even the NASCAR faithful and FOX got rid of those two useless sources of dumbing the races…
So Cara was there at Alfa Romeo’s invitation, who asked her to not do any interviews. How is this Cara’s fault? While she might not have been under contract to Alfa, she was still their guest and representing them after a fashion.
I hope this is the thing that sends Musk leaping from the rooftop of Twit’s SF downtown HQ. We’d commemorate the splat where he hit Market street by painting the LGBT flag inside of the chalk lines, and flip it the finger, every year when we parade down it to the Castro.
“The restart gave Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton the opportunity to move up the field. He was able to get by Piastri, but not Norris, who took second place.”
I can see this issue from both sides. If F1 is providing special access for celebrities, the celebrities should provide special access for F1. Sure, Cara was a guest of Alfa Romeo, not F1, but it’s still F1's race.
It is truly a bizarre set of events that has occurred that makes Mark Zuckerberg the more likable of two alternatives. He’s weird and off-putting, sure, but he’s not “the world’s most divorced man”, “the world’s tenderest billionaire”, or “someone who spends all day chasing clout from the alt-right teens.”
Should they have to stop on the street any time a journalist wants to talk to them or face your disapproval? How about in a restaurant when their family?
Exactly. I agree and disagree (life is full of contradictions). I agree that she didn’t owe Martin Brundle an interview, but I disagree with the idea that she should expect total privacy on the grid. It’s full of reporters and broadcasters from all over the world. It’s not “on the street” or “in a restaurant”. It’s a…
The Grid walk is a place to be seen. Celebs put themselves there on purpose. They could low key go to an event just hang out in the in the luxury boxes. That being said, no means no. Brundle should have walked away, not sure if he kept pushing or if the producer in his ear kept pushing. I feel like if you’re on the…
Sorry, but I have to disagree. Celebs are public people and make TONS of money by being in the public eye. Don’t want to be in the spotlight? Stay in whatever fancy VIP area you’re at so the media don’t bother you. If you go where the media are, expect them to buttonhole you for a quote. I think she came off like an…
How a normal person would write that:
I do like some stuff on this site because it actually has USEFUL news and information, but moment I realize it’s a SLIDESHOW I usually just close the tab and move on. Never found much but silly clickbait and this is another example. It’s almost as bad as the “look at these celebrity nipple-slips” and yes of course…
This is a silly article, and I’m not sure exactly what point it is trying to prove. Most of these are either expected to be low-volume, or are currently launching. I don’t think calling them the “worst-selling” is fair. It would be more interesting if you posted an article looking at the vehicles with the biggest YoY…
I agree. The BEST decision I ever made with finances was buying a new car and financing over 6 years.
That’s what I was wondering. It’s a privately owned area that charges and entrance fee. You’d think that they’d have a size guideline like you said, so it wouldn’t damage their moneymaker.
The infamous “11 foot 8 Bridge” has things that dangle from a pole which hit your truck if its too tall, but that doesn’t persuade people from not opening their trucks like cans of tuna.
FYI: The Dr Emilio Lizardo (account: paging-doctor-parody) imposter account posting here in this thread is NOT …
With traffic to the airport, useless TSA nonsense, sardine packed planes and idiots like this, flying is a nightmare. I’m staying home.
