Cry more.

Of course Zuck never lost consciousness. Robots don’t have a respiratory system. Geeze...

Do you think every time he loses a match, he finds the person’s FB profile and sells their personal data on the darkweb?

Nah, he wasn’t out. I like dunking on him as much as anybody, but he never went limp. I was expecting his guard to start slipping or another sign. Nothing from this angle indicates he had even a brief period of unconsciousness.

In the vastness of the universe, sure, it seems likely. It also seems like the sheer difficulty of travelling through space would mean that it is extremely unlikely that we will ever come in contact with intelligent life from another planet.

The problem is, this requires multiple governments to coordinate in the coverup while also keeping out investigative journalists, researchers, and silicon valley VCs (access to “secret alien tech” would be worth untold amounts of money to some well known tech people — notably the ones who resell military-adjacent tech

I miss Rowdy Roddy Piper too.

Funny that the objects could travel across galaxies and past all sorts of space debris, but crash here. They should up the R&D budget for their guidance devices.

Only if you try to keep using them as money. You really think every kid that’s used one of those penny-smashing machines at the mall is a criminal?

That’s an awful return on $5,000 starting in 1965.

Having spent my career thus far in the public sector... government employees, even high-ranking ones, are just as capable of being batshit crazy as your Drunk Uncle rex.

Oh, so now you’re against gay aliens? Only straight aliens should have rights according to ol Damian over here.

It’s like the stick up your ass has a stick up its ass.

@Damian — Because some people have a sense of humor? Or because yours was shot off in the last war?

Old news

Michael Flynn was a decorated member of the military, too, so that doesn’t automatically confer “truth” to whatever they’re saying.

Yes, she didn’t produce Ratatouille, 7 shorts and Toy Story 4, lead the tools and RnD dept for Finding Nemo or lead the simulation and effect on Monsters Inc in that time...

It was a movie that everyone knew would end up on Disney plus that no one asked for. It didn’t fit the tone and general aesthetic of the series it spun off of. Also it was released at one of the worst times ever for box offices. But sure it’s the gay relationship.

I feel like Lightyear had a poor performance because it had no idea what audience it wanted to direct itself towards. It was a complete reworking of a character to make him less fun, and the tone far more serious than it should have been. It’s plot was meh, it’s twists were meh, it lacked a whole lot of imagination,
