How on Earth can you be driving 75mph through the city without your sirens blaring the whole time? I live in a city and can’t tell you how many close calls I’ve witnessed because the Police or Ambulance were too lazy to turn on their siren as they are flying through intersections at half that speed.  75mph is just

That’s the problem with the internet and social media in general these days. Everyone is very quick to make a decision on whether someone is “bad” or “good” based on very little information in a hive-minded manner. People are more complicated than being categorized as good or bad. Ashton, Mila, etc were friends with

The supervisor dialogue from the report reads like a generic, fabricated “what not to do” situation in every company ethics and safety training where there is clearly one incompetent/lazy person who does everything wrong for educational purposes. BNSF gave that supervisor a raise...amazing.

Max has insane talent, the best car on the grid by far, a great team of strategists in his pit and a limp #2 driver. There is literally nothing stopping him from winning the rest of this year’s races, with the exception of a mechanical failure or a random accident.

A. Lange & Sohne makes some of the most beautiful watches on the market.

Seriously. The situation kind of settled down and passengers were willing to stick it out for 5 hours and then pilot came back and riled everyone up.  WTF is wrong with that guy?

Kind of - the power meter and fuse box are on the same side as the driveway but our house is old and they added a garage onto it a while ago, so the line has to snake through the garage to the outside of the house.  It might be worth getting a few estimates if you’re interested in doing it.

For what it’s worth, I had a 240v line extended to the driveway where I could plugin a Juicebox level 2 charger. I’ve been charging my car outside for the last 4 years and it hasn’t been an issue. The only time my car wouldn’t charge was when it was -20 degrees outside but it’s a PHEV so I didn’t need to worry about

As Collin pointed out, the M2 Comp is the answer.  You can get one for ~$60K and then wrap it in whatever crazy color you want. I’m completely biased because I bought one earlier this month and it is amazing.

I agree, however I wouldn’t recommend driving in all-electric mode all the time in a PHEV. I have an X5 45e PHEV and I drive in “Hybrid” mode most of the time, meaning that when I need extra power, it instantaneously turns on the engine and gets you moving. The X5 is hella-fast considering the size and weight.

I have an X5 45e plugin-hybrid and in my opinion, it’s the sweet spot for electric vehicles. Unless if I’m road-tripping every weekend, which I don’t, I’m usually filling up the gas tank once every 6-8 weeks (about 700-1200 miles), with most of my miles being used on electric. During our road trips, there are lots of

My son got a Traxxas Big Foot RC for his birthday and it opened up the whole world of RC to me. His Big Foot RC can get up to 35mph but there are some models that can reach past 80mph. It’s really impressive but can also be a pretty expensive hobby as the cars take a lot of abuse and need frequent repairs/new parts.

Wow - I didn’t realize that GTS allocations are hard to come by now.  Glad you were able to secure an S!

Amazon is pretty notorious for doing everything as cheap as possible.

The Cayman has creeped up A LOT in recent years. I’ve been tracking the GT4 prices for the last few years and they’ve gone through the roof lately. Hard to believe that a new GT4 (if you can even get an allocation) is now $125k+ when a new one 7 years ago was $90k.

Honestly, if you’re willing to deal with snow tires, then any RWD vehicle might be worth it. I have a RWD BMW 335i with a set of snow tires (Bridgestone Blizzaks) that my wife and I have used as a DD for the last 8+ years and it’s been great in the winter time in New England. I actually look forward to the snow

Porsche Cayman GT4. Initially it was the “more affordable” GT car that you could take to the track. Porsche has gone the Rolex route and decided to limit production and increase scarcity for all of their GT cars by limiting allocations to the dealerships. GT4 MSRP has increased by over $20K to $106K for a base model

At first I didn’t think that was real.  And then I looked it up and realized, holy shit, people are actually paying over $100K for a Jeep.

Third gen Mitsubishi Eclipse. It was technically released in 1999 so I guess it qualifies as a car from the 90's?

We have our fair share of idiots here in the Northeast too. I had drive across the Mass Pike (I-90) from Boston to Springfield a few weeks ago when we had torrential downpours all morning. There were 3 hydroplaning accidents on I-90 East within 5 miles of each other. The only reason more people weren’t crashing is
