No worries... you can make the Hk sound even quieter with wipes or used "wet" but all things being equal the integrally suppressed ruger .22 is probably the most quiet civilian pistol out there. The mk23 though is very very quiet for it's caliber.

Eh ... I didn't forget anything... shooting the SD with standard ball ammo is still pretty quiet and similar to movies (executive decision comes to mind) and does not require ear protection.

If you want close to movie style sound suppression try shooting an MP5SD (9mm) as it comes pretty close. Next would be an integrally suppressed ruger .22. There are some restricted suppressors that are even quieter but they are not for public use.
