YES! that part was fantastic. There were bits that were great in both, but generally had a weird goofy tone that doesn't match the series to me. Far too slapstick. I mean, I understand concessions must be made for movie audiences, but as a fan, it didn't feel like the right move.

I'm fine with no hellboy three. The movies were weaaaak. And Mignola ended the series like a boss. If you want hellboy read some of the amazing game-changing comics
