I thought it would have been better had the alien ate Elle Fanning instead of that housewife. I don't think that kid would have been as forgiving.

I didn't even know she was in Lawless before I went to see it, so it was a real nice surprise when she showed up.

They better not try to soften up Parker.  The worst part of Payback was that the dog lived after getting shot.

Yeah, I feel exactly the same way.  I spent an hour down the Wikipedia rabbit hole reading up on Collins this morning.

A friend of mine did a bit of stand up around Madison a few years back and I would go out to see him every so often.  He did pretty well at one of the local stand up competitions and the shows were all fun except for one instance with a weird heckler.  My friend was doing 10 minutes and was third or fourth in order.

My problems with TDKR didn't deal with the superhero aspects but the shitty shortcuts taken to advance the plot.  The exploding concrete, the co-opting of the construction workers into Bane's super-obedient gang, the whole stock market thing, all of these just rang too false.  The movie really lost me when "every cop

I've flipped past those occasionally and wow, that shit is beyond the pale.

I'm saddened to hear about Kirsch.  I had a copy of PG's Jump Salty when I was in high school and I came across a vinyl copy a year or two ago.  It's always been one of my favorites.

I really disagreed with Heller's review of HWM's Exister.  It's one of my top-five releases this year, and it's chock full of energy and urgency.  But that's just my opinion.

When I heard from those that really disliked TDKR I initially dismissed it as a case of unrealistic expectations based on the excellence of the second film.  But I was wrong.  I was surprised by how much I disliked this movie.  Obviously any superhero movie requires a certain suspension of disbelief but there weren't

My favorites are generally all interview-based.  WTF is my first and foremost favorite, and Alec Baldwin's Here's The Thing and Aisha Tyler's Girl on Guy are also regulars in my rotation.  I've always enjoyed the NPR Planet Money podcast and I've now almost entirely switched to listening to This American Life as a

I'd probably be there with you had I got into them earlier, but my first HWM album was Caution.

I listen to Lifetime a lot myself.
