With the additional weight of the JT over the JL, is the current 3.6 under-powered?

Think of it as a 6-speed with a granny/low-range/crawler gear. 6 plus a low range would be awesome.

Really there is no point in doing this. I drove a Miata during Colorado winters for 10+ years. All you need is 4 snow tires and the awareness to never drive in any snow over 4-5 inches in depth, you will be plowing if you are driving through anything deeper.

Not specific to B pillars, however, ask the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL community about faulty frame welds. It’s been 6 months since they were orginally reported and new JL’s are still showing up with defective welds, suspension and other parts are separating from the frame...
