Such dignity and class our president has…
I had to re-take the written test when I got my Illinois license a few years ago, which I had no idea I was going to have to do (I was just transferring it from my Missouri license). I'd been driving for probably 8-10 years by then, but I was stumped on some of the questions. Like shapes/colors of signs without the…
Actually, I think "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design" indicates that it is not!
That would bring into question the integrity of the accurate and meaningful institution that is the Nielsen rating system!!!
Yeah….there's a lot of Vietnamese that doesn't translate well to English. I would've considered my favorite Aunt-in-law's name for Kickpuncher's middle name (we gave her a Vietnamese middle name), but it was Bich. I'm not doing that to my kid…
Nobu cookbook? I got it off thekitchn but that was the original source
Seriously, though. Who should have the study room table more than us?!?
I just made miso marinated black cod (well, last night) and I had no idea it was on the AVC front page last week
Dance Pants? Don't tell Troy….
< cue Alanis Morrisette voice > It's like raiiiiiiiiiiiiin on your wedding day!
Nope—I'm with you. First and foremost because it just felt like it was just putting the show on pause to have a song from a Josh Groban CD, but also because I felt like it takes the subtext and makes it text. I love Pierre's other "I want" song, so "Dust and Ashes" just feels unnecessary.
I first saw it at Kazino with a much smaller cast and actually preferred it that way (granted, I was in the nosebleed seats for the Broadway version). Songs like "Sonya Alone" or "No One Else" were just so intimate in the smaller space. With the bigger cast, it got a little too "entertain the masses" and circus-y…
Then again, I'm pretty sure every high school girl out there is doing "Sonya Alone," right? So they'll come to be sick of Great Comet, too :)
I think "Sincerely Me" (I saw it Off-Broadway last year so I might have the song wrong, but there's definitely one in there) makes it pretty clear it's just Evan's projection of Connor.
Co-sign all of the above. I can't believe Great Comet didn't get Orchestration and Rachel Chavkin was terribly robbed (I think Comet should've gotten score over DEH, too).
The movers lost my egg shaker from the Off-Broadway production and I would've rather them broken all my dishes than that—I was so mad!
I don't have a dog so……
I just discovered they're on time-delay out here. I'm not actually missing New York, but that fact does make me feel a little like I'm in the middle of nowhere…
Wait…who is that with our Gillers? Have we approved him?
