I'm surprised he didn't put it up against The New Celebrity Apprentice…

That's the other encouraging thing—though I've heard of a lot of horrible stuff people feel they now have permission to do because of Trump, my daily experience has been people are being kinder, more polite in the course of the day. There's a little sense of "we're all in this miserable situation together" out there.

Yeah…I kind of feel like nothing I can do will really make a difference. Like, I just imagine the people in power laughing at our tiny little strivings while they do their backroom deals. But then I think that's how Trump et al win for sure, so I have to try.

So…what are you guys doing? I feel we're in this weird freefall where my day-to-day feels very normal (like, didn't you think the impending destruction of our country would feel scarier?) and yet super-horrible, unimaginable things are actually happening. I just passed a lady walking down my street burning sage. Hey I'll take the help

This song feels oddly appropriate…amirite, Loki?

Yeah…I think it makes a lot of sense and it was a fun reveal. I guess my first reaction was more in line with Loki, above—how on earth do they do season 2? Which can definitely be exciting. Then again, given my history with Mike Schur shows, I could be The Good Place's #1 detractor by next year… :)

Shout-out to Kickpuncher for falling asleep exactly at 8 even though we were kinda off schedule and sleeping through the episode (we've been having sleep struggles).
