Umm…yes except for my technical ineptitude. Where/how would I post such a thing?

Dammit Vulture! I really need to stop going to that site. I guess I know an important CEG (Are we using CEG or CXG? I always want to write CXG but I realize that's not actually correct ) development now…

I will say, the one positive to come out of Trump's run for me is that I don't really feel obliged to feel qualified for anything anymore. Job that seems slightly above my skill set? Sure, I'll apply! Conference session I'm not sure I'm really expert enough to lead? Do it anyway! Anyone can be president!

This is literally what I'm doing with Kickpuncher right now to get her to sleep in her crib, but when she wakes at 5 am she gets to come snuggle with me because it buys me 2 more hours of sleep.

Ahhh… I need to watch some 30 Rock.

Before the election, when I tried to imagine the row of presidential portraits, making the step from Obama to Trump immediately made my brain recoil in shock and horror and disgust.

Hey, I was telling my husband in Summer 2015 that the whole Trump thing wasn't funny and could go all the way. I was cynical before it was cool, man.

Especially because it's a particularly gray day here, but I couldn't help but feel on my morning commute like I was in an episode of Mr. Robot.

Yeah, in our GTFO NYC effort, we're looking at three possible cities. The frontrunner just got way stronger considering its the only one also within a blue state

Yeah except I fully believe Trump supporters are too dumb to know they're dumb…

Yeah even my two college friends who are pretty staunch Republicans (but educated and thoughtful ones) voted Clinton this year. It really makes me sad to have confirmed that there are that many racist, uneducated, terrible people in the US.

Some for me first, please!

I slept ok because I went to bed early with the baby. She woke kind of early this morning so I thought, let me just open my NYT app and make sure Hillary….WHAT?!?

Cool Runnings!

Yeah, this definitely drives home the problem of everyone existing in their own little echo chambers. I'm same as you: no one I know voted Trump (except, I suspect, my dad, who's right in his core demo). On the other side, if you wanted to find "news" that only supported Trump, you could isolate yourself in that

Yeah. Working would be a good distraction but it feels like "what's the point?" Like…research funding is probably going to get worse, occ health is probably going to get more obliterated than it already is….I didn't think I was THAT invested in this election (other than, y'know, don't elect HIM) because so much that

Paula! Noooooooooo!

Is it West Covina?!?

Oh, and I'm also watching You're The Worst on silent these days…I really miss hearing Chris Geere's deliveries.

I assume that's the second half of this week's episode? I'm saving that to get me through bedtime tomorrow night.
