All functions?!? Wait…is everything they taught me in med school wrong?!?!

Oof. I remember that day. If it wasn't for you guys I don't know how I would have gotten through the loss of Maria Bello's hat.

Oh—I'm definitely not worried. More like it'll be on security lockdown. But right now it's probably one of the safer places in the world. But thanks :)

I just tuned in to the news. I saw a headline before I left work, but then I was in a rush to get dinner before my husband and his visiting cousin went up to Madison Square Garden for the game (which might now be a less-than-great plan). In the maybe 20 minutes I watched the news, the toll went from 40—and they were

I finally bought the cast recording and I had to come back and find your comment to compare now!

You're doing God's work, Loki.

Wow. I assumed his little flip last night was a double/stuntperson. Who do we need to bribe/threaten to get videos of the breakdancing?!?

As I said before, I didn't have high expectations going into it, since I didn't expect the show's pedigree to produce anything I would enjoy. I've only watched the first two and it didn't blow my mind, but it was enjoyable…I'll probably watch the whole season. I've been promised that the acting gets better.

NPR-a-buddies!

I've figured out what Weekend Update needs. Not #canceljost or #cancelche. Just #addterrygross. I've found both of them way funnier during this episode of Fresh Air than the entire season of WU combined.

It's so bizarre—the AVC episode review actually praised the performances too!

Yeah. I guess it's ridiculous that I accept every other ridiculous twist in the show including the whole premise upon which it is based and yet I let the lack of realism of that bother me, but it was poking at my brain for that whole story line.

Aww…I dunno. I'm pretty sold. I pretty much buy the ridiculous plot twists wholesale just to spend time with the characters. When they get really into the fantasy sequence type stuff, though, I'm with you. I can't look directly at it :-P.

That was such a quick little cut over to him, but so worth it (also, that was a good level of Luisa-crazy last night. Kooky. Something's not quite right with her, but she's not an idiot and she actually tries to act like an older sister). Winner of hilariousness for the night for me, though, was stoned Alba saying

I have mixed feelings, Miss Jane T. Virgin.

HEY! HI! WELCOME BACK!

Yeah, Aziz was kind of bad in episode 1, but everyone surrounding him was basically okay, so it almost looked like a stylistic character choice (or kind of like how you can tell Jerry Seinfeld is really not an actor, but it doesn't ruin the show). But episode 2 was rough.

Yes!!! It's like an after-school special!

Huh. Maybe they just don't want me to see it, then… :-P

I think they're doing a good job in general….but within Netflix…they make it really hard to find their show.
