Spinning chairs—YES! You, sir, are management material!

Your response may still be longer than the lifespan of this service.

I assume I've been someone-freaked on this, but it's news to me and I have so many questions:

Happy Holidays

Is Disqus not clearing notifications for anyone else? The red balloon endures….

I have not (except for today, where I probably impersonated Britta in my review of Hamilton).

Or, the Village Voice review said it better:

"Helpless/Satisfied" was the one I thought was a really fun construction. "It's Quiet Uptown" was the one that almost made me cry, even though, as I said, I didn't get that invested in the characters.

I'm very excited to see it. It's been on my to-watch list for awhile. I actually didn't even buy tickets until noon today and they were cheaper than I've ever found them when I've tried. Keeping this Halloween trick in mind for the future….

Going to see Fun Home. It occurred to my husband—and turned out to be true—that we could probably get cheap tickets to shows tonight. Plus, we aren't cool enough to have actual Halloween plans. So crazy Tony-award-winning-Broadway-show weekend it is!

Also, as I think I've said here before, I've always thought there was some resemblance between Gina Rodriguez and Tatiana Maslany (similar-shaped faces and mouths, maybe?), so that book-signing wig gave me major Rachel Duncan vibes.

Ah, Miss Jane T. Virgin. Your show makes me laugh out loud. Which is a big deal, because I'm not a big LOL'er. I'm more of a smile-and-maybe-exhale-er. But once last week and twice this week you have made me laugh out loud. One of those may have involved a snort. Maybe.

Tomorrow I have to go to an actual $1000-a-plate black-tie fundraiser at the Waldorf Astoria*. Therefore, I will be quoting "Tracy Does Conan" in my head all day, thereby proving I in no way belong at a black-tie fundraiser at the Waldorf Astoria.

Tomorrow. At the earliest possible moment.

Because I stupidly scheduled improv class for Monday nights, I watched a different insemination-related piece of entertainment* as I ate dinner by myself at 10 pm. Let me tell you, all insemination-related pieces of entertainment are not created equal.
