@Settings: A bank LOVES this idea. I work at a big national bank and I LOVE this idea. Suddenly, my processing power is not limited by my computer. My file storage is not limited by my computer.

I do not get all the naysayers in the room. And I will go refute them one by one, and probably make many friends in the process.

@Elliuotatar: Because 10x is a nice theoretical placeholder.

@Chilli: There would be WAY more money for battery makers if we did electric cars. It increases the size of the market by several fold. I would also expect batteries to become a much cheaper and more realistic option for anything you plug into the wall today.

@Sergio526: The tobacco mosaic virus has been "manufactured" for well over a century now. It was the FIRST virus ever discovered, and is one of the most studied virus' in history specifically because it only infects certain plants, is easy to control, and has little risk.

I would much rather batteries get 50-75% smaller and still see double or triple performance gains.

You know if this is true, and they are just now hiring engineers, maybe they will announce the Verizon iPhone in the Winter and launch it sometime later?

@MaWeiTao: Pretty much agreed. Problem for them is that if they switch to a utility model today, they won't make ANY money off of most users and everything would colapse.

I guess I am the only one who doesn't get this. Essentially each pixel hits a screen. It is then split into two and reflected out at such an angle to the viewer as to have depth. Is that right?

Ping times matter so much more...

Batman sold out already!

@OMG! KaZx: Gotta agree. Blur is the worst idea Moto has ever had. I do love some of the things it does (like DNLA, a slightly better alarm application), but I hate the fact that it doesn't sync well with Facebook like a stock android phone. It screws up contact photos. It runs much slower. It has one of the worst

Question in contrast is...did broadband decrease as well?

If you are doing this, you really should have picked up droid thsi weekend on Amazon for a penny. The incredible was one cent last week.

Significantly delayed at this point. I was looking forward to some new wallpapers.

@mightyjlr: See my other reply, but I do tutoring with highschoolers and mentoring with middle schoolers. I communicate maybe 20-100 times a day. All of them are texts. I have emailed a total of 3 students. 2 of them used their parent's email addresses

@Sumada: Texting has completely taken over for email and for chatting. I remember I had an Email address (aol.com) but I mostly used AIM to communicate with my friends. Mail was actually secondary until college.

Most high schoolers don't use email yet. I have strong suspicion this would become their primary email address in no time. However, I think when facebook replaces texting, THEN they will have something REALLY valuable.

I was wondering if you guys might start keeping a list of good and useful apps that you can add to each day. That seems much better than what we have right now.
