Bungie has alot of good story ideas but they have no idea how to actually end a chapter. There's so many loose threads that just haven't got closure. I half expect the almighty to just be in the skybox for the rest of the game now

The problem with just making a sequel is that no one is gonna take the chance on it seeing as the first game failed so hard. They have to salvage it or walk away but they have so much invested at this point that I don't think they can walk.
