Spelling helps. “Buses” not “busses.”

How did the insurance company even pay anything out? Didn’t they view the video? Or do they just throw money out and hope to get some back later?
Back in ‘67, my cousin and I drove my ‘48 Ford truck (Flathead V8) from L.A. to San Felipe, Baja Ca. We wrapped a chunk of beef in aluminum foil and wired it to the exhaust manifold. It cooked nicely. Through and through. We did rotate it once or twice.
“The real issue is with drivers who ride rented motorcycles in the desert without permission,” he said. “No one says anything to them.”
You don’t “need” a droptop, you “want” one. Use proper terminology, please.
That would depend on their profit per device, but you are probably right since they could have huge profit margins dealing with idiots.
I need to question the license plate. It starts with 9 and that’s the most recent starting number in CA, being issued to new cars and recently re-licensed cars (imports, re-registered garage finds, etc.). Why does this have a 9? Was it sitting in a garage for several years? Was it brought in from Michigan? Inquiring…
Thank you for the info. I tried Google for the limits but only found 70 in the general area. So speeding it was.
Th=is was reported on here in 2022:
What is the speed limit on I-95 there? I think it’s 70. If so, not speeding. But apparently still drunk.
Just what the world needs: a bigger, faster, toy.
I get these articles through a newsreader, then read them online. They have links to earlier articles, and the links change. Sometimes this article is shown, often not. So it looks like there is a rotating list of links that appear in the articles. If it isn’t a rotation, then sorry for that reference.
You did get cheated. $50 when the sign says $10? That’s a cheat. Or did the sign say “Fees may vary depending on what we feel like charging today”?
4th Gear: This is a normal progression. Just look at the history of auto companies in the US. Many started, most failed (or merged).
Correct, what CFA did was just a flip, not a flip-flop. All too often politicians are accused of flip-flopping when all they did was change their mind about something.
This article is over a year old, time to either retire it or update it to let us know what happened after the trial period.
Isn’t it about time to retire this article from the rotation? It has no current relevance, does it?
X=Cross, Terra=Country, so the is a “Cross-Country”, not an “Extra.”
How much does the family actually get? Is it all theirs, is it divided among other victims, How much for the government(s), how much for the lawyers. etc.?
I buy stuff on Temu, mostly good so far. One bad item (non-functioning multimeter) was refunded, one incomplete package was refunded, no return needed. The variety is mind-boggling sometimes. Just pay close attention to what you are ordering, keep a screenshot, and all will be good. HTH.
