Have to say I agree to a point. I have too many hobbies (there, I said it!). But I enjoy them all. If I dropped one to focus more time on the others, I'd miss the one I dropped fairly quickly. I've gotten into the mode that I'd prefer to dedicate 20% each to 5 hobbies instead of 100% to 1. But, hey, to each his own.

That is true, they also couldn't scan for malware. That is why I'm of the opinion of instead of making encrypted by default - have a button so you select which emails are encrypted.

Agreed - NSA or no NSA, at the very least this can get people thinking about email encryption, and how important it is to secure their messages even if they're not talking about something specifically sensitive.
