If one can find another renowned industrial designer to suggest a new style I’m open to it, but the current design is really good. Plus the exterior of Boeings haven’t changed much for fifty years, either...

I can dig it. I drove my 05 home from a hillclimb in northern Michigan last weekend and it was an absolute joy on two lane back roads and more than fast enough on the highway.
It’s got a great personality.
My car is seventeen years old and I haven’t really driven anything else in the meantime other than a V70 in 2015. The automatic start/stop was weird (I though I stalled until it restarted when I pushed the clutch in while wondering where the ignition was) and the digital gauges were fun to play with once I got it set…
I thought ROTOR wasn’t supposed to come out for another fifty years.
Depends on your skin color.
Comparing this to a GTI is the big thing as I’m probably too cheap to get a Golf R if I need a new car and the WRX is a hot mess.
Minus the trip to yinzburgh the train would have been faster.
Maybe the STI will have body colored cladding. Then the fashion conscious will have to pay the extra price. I want to see one in real life; Subarus in general are too large these days save the BRZ, and I’d prefer that with a less sports car appearance. A shame the Golf R will be hard to find and quite expensive.
I lived in Denver twenty years ago moving from Pittsburgh and was surprised at all the vehicles that wouldn’t pass Pennsylvania inspection. And they didn’t have snow tires even though snow removal was non-existent in town. Studs were legal though; I almost bought a set before opting for something a bit more normal.
Small town cops that pull you over and just go on a fishing expedition when you have plates from outside the county. God forbid you have plates from out of state.
A balrog is come!
Now there’s a police effort I can support. Bumper heights and wheel widths next, please.
Green is pretty searing on the eye in darkness. Along with blue it’s one of those colors best avoided at night.
y’olo
That is the dumbest thing yinz guys could paint on a water tower.
Okay, okay. How about it’s a “sucker” shortage?
If you’re going to have a car show in Chicago and it’s the middle of summer make sure there’s some shade. The concept is great but the time of year and location not so much.
They’re probably already rolling with Swift.
