I’ve been watching these for years before getting a good look at the specs. The seats can be replaced but the cage makes it worthless for a street car. Don’t know if the cage has any kind of homlogation or would pass local inspection if you wanted a cheap-ish rally banger, either.
How is this micro-targeting being done? Is it scanning nearby phones or looking at a scrape of data that phone companies have collected in a certain area?
Once you have the wheels and brakes sorted you should be fine. The brake pads are probably fossilized rubber which is part of your problem. Those older bridges are a pain to set up, too. A pair of Tektro cantilevers and basic brake levers would be the easiest solution. The CR720s are pretty goof-proof.
