I’m sorry, the correct answer was "Where's Firefly?".  You lose 500 points and your AV Club credentials.

Quarantine of Penny!

Yeah, he really was looking like someone else last night.  My bigger question though was just what was with the weird empty room he was in for the Johnny Karate bit?

Coincidentally, I wondered this morning if the move to streaming would affect the Oscar eligibility guidelines.  Thank  you academy, for reading my mind, and the AV Club for making sure I didn’t have to google it.

My wife introduced this show to me, and it is just great comfort food TV.  When I got the Pluto TV channel on my Roku, and they run a Leverage channel on there.  It’s definitely a go-to when we just can’t decide what to watch.

Now playing

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: A trailer for the rest of the Legends season!

Shame about Sing 2.  The first one is the current go-to movie for my 3 year old.  I still wish he’d go back to his previous go-to of Moana, but Sing isn’t bad.  The one original song in it is a pretty ear wormy power pop song that I like, and really there’s much worse movies he could want to watch.

No skeleton sidekick, no deal.

Not that I had a burning desire to watch it, but I’ll be happy to see it pop up on Disney+.  Now if they could just release New Mutants on Hulu, that would be awesome.

Yes, it is amazing. I still can’t believe they managed to blend two completely disparate genres that I love into one movie.

This is as good a place as any to mention that I giggled when I saw that Velocipastor is available for streaming on Amazon Prime.
While I don’t like a lot of horror movies, I have a soft spot for horror-comedies, so I’ll probably watch this one whenever it shows up on some service for free.

Seriously, after how poorly Mona’s introduction went, I’ve been really impressed by how quickly I came to love Behrad.  I really hope the two of them can stick around, a sibling rivalry would be a new dynamic on the crew.

Thanks! While I’ve enjoyed him on Legends, I’m pretty clueless about his backstory aside from some half-remembered things from the movie and the first two or so episodes of his prior show.

A general question I keep meaning to ask: is the Astra/John storyline a carryover from the NBC series or was it just created for legends?

My only complaint about this episode is that thth teased an appearance by actual teenage Mick Rory, and didn't deliver.

Yeah, I would assume one of those Netflix Sandler films would have been the more appropriate target.

Thanks for the heads up!

I finally got the chance to see a Star War this week.  While I enjoyed parts, I really can't get over my annoyance that they brought Palpatine back.  While influenced by them, Star Wars is not a damned comic book.  Could they just let some bad guys stay dead?

Oh, and from there Buddy discovers that the couple have been kidnapping and drugging people, keeping them alive in their basement, and when he awakes the next morning, he’s been framed for the murder of the imprisoned man who told him this—hence the interrogation room situation. The cops then head to the house, where
