When I was in college, my theatre group put on a couple of plays by a student named Nate Kushner, and they were all hilarious.  The real highlight was "Sic Semper OR Other Than That, How Did You Enjoy The Show, Mrs. Lincoln?", which posited that Booth had to kill Lincoln because Lincoln was about to serve as the

In a Rocky vein, a couple of years ago, they showed the film on the steps of the Art Museum in Philly.  And despite the films age and the fact that everyone had already seen it, the crowd really got into it, and combined with the location, it was amazing.
And in terms of movies being ephemeral, I could offer up seeing

I couldn't agree more.  The energy of a sweaty crowd in a basement singing at the tops of their lungs to a punk band is an energy that can't be matched.  I hear friends rave about arena shows, and I just think, "Really?".

Seriously, the Centre Pompidou is great, and it's even better that it's almost completely re-hung every year.  Nothing will top the first time I went, which my family and I still marvel about the exhibit "39 Dead Sparrows in Sweaters".  Which is exactly what it sounds like.

I made sure to wear blue and gold to work on Leap Day.  No one else did :(

Would have been better if it correctly stated "runt of the litter" instead of "run of the litter".

I love the song, but You! Me! Dancing! by Los Campesinos seems to me to be twee in aural form.

Remember those Newswire updates about how they had to stop shooting because they didn't have an ending yet?  In a time travel movie?  How the hell did this end up not terrible?

I've never even heard of Coldblood, which reassures me that my nerd-ery knows some bounds.  But not many boundaries:  Let's throw Forbush Man in there!

Unless I missed an update, the reports from the Philly papers said 30 bands over 3 stages.  But still, not that interested.  I will however, go see the Boss that weekend for the first time.

In the animated episode, there was the guy with the X on his t-shirt that was trapped in the zeppelin.  When Olivia woke up, she made some comment about how that guy would kill her.
And yes, the one hanging plot thread I do always remember (aside from that) is Broyles and Nina kissing.  What was up with that?

Funny you should mention that Martian could be adapted as a stage play…my theatre group in college did a show of 3 Twilight Zone episodes including that (I played one of the cops), One for the Angels, and I forget the third one's title, but I think it was Masks.  But yes, it adapted well.

Looking ahead on my DVR, it looks like NBC is showing all 3 of the remaining episodes of Community next week.  What the hell?
