Ending?
I remember reading the comic a couple of years ago and enjoying it. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but did they keep the ending the same?

Duplicates?
I remember reading about the whole suing to get it back before, but to go further, didn't she first think they lost the statue and get a duplicate made by the Academy? So which one is she selling, the original or the duplicate? Because I'm pretty sure their sum value is $2.

Songs from the Black Hole
If this includes Longtime Sunshine and Lovers in the Snow, I'll be happy. Most of this stuff would be Pinkerton-era recordings.

Annoyances
Towards the end of the episode, I was getting really annoyed, and I was contemplating ditching the show. Then I saw the previews. Oh, right, Kristen Bell. Nevermind.

We should have seen it coming.
After all the play it safe picks of the past years, is it all that surprising. And yeah, it won't be great and it might be boring, but it won't be run into the next room awfu.

Channel 1
Am I the only one that can't believe that the same guy that I watched in High School on Channel 1 is now a major news host on CNN. It just doesn't seem right.

School
I think the school distance thing is explained away in that I remember Andi saying something like, "I'm going to take some classes to get ready to go to college." So she was going to take some gen eds at the community college THEN move away.

Happenstance
What kind of annoyed me was (presented in internal monologue): "Oh, hey, Trudy! Awesome. I'm glad they brought her back. Wait, Ted goes to this bar like every night. How did it take him 2 years to run into her again?"

Presidents with hooks for hands

The inconsistencies were really bugging me too. Philly
That sucks. I saw them in Philly the last tour too, and I had a great time. Yeah, the church was hot and stuffy, but it was June. It's a lot better in the fall and winter.

I really do love this show, and I had a good number of guffaws last night.

Best moment of the Emmys
During the Brian/Stewie song, they make a crack about Scrubs, something about sitcoms not having to be funny. Then the immediate cut to the Entourage cast. Ba-zing.

For me, 1998 was a much more important year in music. The ska-punk fad was over, but most of the bands were creating their after the hype albums.
