I normally use olive oil, but a number of years ago I bought breakfast of crispy fried eggs and rice from an 80yo Makah woman on the beach at Neah Bay and she was using bacon grease. It’s the most memorable fried egg I’ve ever had so she gets the nod. Bacon grease.

I think I depends where you are. I fully admit I enjoy speed and have a vehicle that can meet that need. But I also live about 6 blocks from a major interstate and I listen to bikes and exotics wind up a particularly popular uphill section every night. Absolutely spectacular, except for one detail - anybody that daily drives stick knows you need a wheel that isn’t cut off at the top like that. I love the direction these Aston one offs are going. Leave the automatic/car drives itself exotics to Lambo and Feerahree.

yes indeed - we did the traditional, “freeze the top section for a year” thing. My wife’s aunt made it originally and she is an accomplished baker/bakery owner so it was quite good to begin with, not terrible after a year in my MIL’s freezer.
