Goofy but I want it, (can we get it in that yellow?) One nitpic - those new front fender make it look a little busier up there...

Wouldn’t it be funny if it actually looked way different than all these “leaks”?

We used to do that all the time as a kid with my mother - it’s really not all that hard. One trick, don’t add the sugar until it starts to form peaks. My father loved chocolate pie with whipped cream so it usually was a neat occasion...

yeah... never thought the drop top was as good looking as the coupe or targa...  Stick with the hardtop people!

nope - I absolutely love that. It is America - we chase after our tires instead of just letting them roll away.

yeah, and you can use it again after re-entry just like a SpaceX.

Now playing

I... I have buckets of fun with 270 which is what I can currently afford. I am confident in my manhood, but darn if I wouldn’t absolutely love to wring out a ZR1 or Agera RS.... That explosive speed above 160 is just something I’d never see in a road car.

damn I hope it’s good...

Heimdall” - and with a little Swedish moxee it will crack 300.

smart and savvy

totally agree - 1.5 turbo, 6spd, upspec brakes/shocks and not much else.

Just found another job after getting laid off and enjoying the 09 Mazda 3 sport hatch 5spd I had just picked up for a good price. Not super fast but it would out brake/corner a bunch of more powerful vehicles. Got chewed by the wife of a buddy in a 5.0 mustang trying to keep up with me through some twisties....

once they had them sorted... I had an 01 coupe from new and it had issues...

as long as you wear a helmet...

Liberal use of spray wax prior to and during winter - I had an 09 Mazda 3 since new, (not exactly known for it’s rust abatement qualities,) and spray waxed the entire thing, (underneath as much as possible as well,) and had virtually no rust when I sold it last year.

I would enjoy a compact uprising - but I just don’t think it will happen. A recession just brings lower sales in all categories. We would need significantly higher fuel costs as well, and even then folks go grudgingly and have wider choices in modern CUVs (at a better ROI for car companies.)

Makes that Viper look small, (that vent attached to the front wheel wells still bugs me...but otherwise it’s beautiful.)

I am now a social reject because people shun me when I yammer on about drop throttle oversteer...

I would argue that is skill applied at the proper time rather than luck. One of those situations we only get a few times in our lives to make the proper decision, or not...
