: ) Clever, totally wouldn’t ever do that!

Three million in the wild. Have not seen one in public yet, can’t get em in stores because they’re sold it. It’s a damn paradox here in Beaverton.

“Any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology.”

Yes, the 3DS will have a successor. It’s coming out on March 3rd, and it’s called the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo merged their departments to unify development. Let’s use Fire Emblem as a recent example. Right now, they’re making some multi-plat Warriors game with another studio. They’re making one more 3DS game, the

You guys want bots? This is how you get EVEN MORE bots! :D

1 - Create a bot to farm WoW gold (oh yes, they have existed for a while)
2 - Spend it on Hearthstone or Overwatch respectively
3 - Sell the dummy accounts (Hearthstone and Overwatch) to customers at a sale price far better than you could have paid for the packs

Everyone will refer to you as Shepard. :D

If only I could agree on the “shitty gameplay” part. Everything this dev makes is just oozing with creativity and self-reflection. His humor is self-aware and plays with tropes in inventive ways. I think the issue is that you’re judging it purely by its cover, and you’re afraid to give it a fair chance. I wasn’t one

That’s the point of Frog Fractions (as a concept...a genre?) It likes to pile on layers and layers of deception on making something “ordinary” extraordinary. Props to the fan’s dedication, seems like they did its developer proud. : )

And what about Space Dandy? Anytime I see a Bebop discussion I gotta bring it up. Maybe it truly is underrated since I don’t see enough people gawk about it.

Thought this was a FFT announcement. Finding out it isn’t is bad enough to reduce me to tears. Shoot, this was a huge disappointment. (For somebody who isn’t crazy about MMOs but loves strategy RPGs)

Instead of addressing the issue, grinding in rpgs, they’re treating the game like a MMO. But this, this is intentionally holding your players hostage of their time.

“We realize we intentionally messed up the pacing by adding tons of unnecessary grinding that holds back plot progression. But hey, if you want to enjoy

The pokedex updates when it obtains new information via encounters. This is parity to the game and show. : )

Talk about life imitating art! (Even if it WAS intentional)

“World of Final Fantasy” is more traditional than their latest installment. It’s pretty ironic. I think they don’t mind because the FF7 remake/remaster is still a real thing, and will probably be very traditional. If it does well, I hope 8 and 9 are in line for similar treatments. FF9 is still my favorite traditional

“...My belief is that fan games provide a valuable service to gaming culture by keeping games present in our minds and providing new ways to experience the games we already value so much.”

Some people believe games are just a more interactive story-telling experience / medium. What constitutes as a game is subjective, but I’ll leave it to the author. If the author calls it a game with the intent of making a game, it’s not my place to rob that satisfaction from them. : )

A better theory IMO is that advertisers want to pay less on their adverts, but are willing to pay more elsewhere (Trending) for their content to be seen if enough are “fooled”. If all the big wealthy companies in Trending decided to boycott Google’s platform if the prices didn’t drop, they could have strong-armed them

Logged in just to star this comment. I forgot the term and you beat me to it. : )

The Amazon “gamer” bundle let me snag ~ $600 worth of Chroma Razer gear for around $290, over 50% off total. The fact it’s a tax write-off for my studio is just icing on the cake. They arrive today in the next 11 hours. : )

Oh snap, seems like they’re bringing back what made the GameCube’s launch so special IMO. First hints of Mario Kart including remastered DoubleDash content, and now Wave Race too? There’s also a definitive Smash Bros in the works, and a 3D Mario. 2017 could be Nintendo’s most profitable year if they play their cards
