How often do people hear "You took my money, now I expect X, Y, and Z from you"…?

She's still Mari - she just channels the rhino's abilities
I'm hoping he meant that he just told everyone to be aware of and on the look out for that missing kid, like an Amber Alert sorta thing, rather than pulling everyone off other assignments
How many options do they have for heroes without powers? Batman they love. Green Arrow wasn't a particularly well-known character before this show. Punisher is too dark for most kids. Hawkeye is in the same boat as GA was. Blue Beetle is even more obscure than GA, and spent a long time being really lame.
Felicity didn't seem at all angsty/whiny to me. The fact that he'd just recorded that message was part of the problem. She understood why Oli made the decisions he made, but didn't like that she was left in the dark about them while he got advice from John and Mari.
I feel like there has to be some sort of epic Vixen "You're not you when you're hungry" opportunity
John brought Andy some though
She doesn't demand decision-making power; she totally understands the decision. What she doesn't like is that she's finding out about a huge life decision after-the-fact, as opposed to being one of the people Oliver goes to for advice.
So, the fact that he included people who were almost killed made you conclude that he meant to discuss people who were actually killed? As opposed to, say, discussing people who were beaten almost to death?
I've heard a lot of different definitions of fridging; this instance was debatable. Gail Simone's definition includes maiming, and having your life hanging by a thread, being in a coma, and having permanent damage is at least close to being maimed.
From the article "Whether or not Wilkes is actually dead, I’m getting very tired of the MCU’s treatment of black men at this point."
All the white characters? Really?
On the other hand, I think consideration should be made of whether "bad things for legitimate reasons" may happen more often to women.
It's always applied to a wide list of things; the argument, as I understand it, was "Here's a list of tragedies that occur to women in comics. Sometimes that's okay, and it happens to men too, but it seems to happen to women FAR more often"
I'm pretty sure killing someone isn't the only bad thing you can do to them…
Good on them for the Asians. But seriously, MCU-wide, things have not been kind to black characters.
Pretty sure fridging is actually because of plot almost every time… Doesn't make it okay.
Obviously, they wouldn't only beat up black guys. Nobody would suggest anything as silly as that.
Actually, Sava's definition may be much narrower than the definition Gail Simone came up with; she seems to include any instance of a woman being killed, maimed, or depowered on her list, but then clarifies that not everyone on that list is necessarily a bad thing - just that the trend overall is worrisome.
I could be wrong, but didn't they say the acid was gone? I assumed the hydrochloric acid was just some other acid that was left behind.
