Wait, are you sure? I thought he really was trying to resist, until that happened

I dunno about that. There's a lot of competition

Haha, ouch. You just had to go there with Moira…

The movies are apparently going to be completely separate from the TV shows. It may end up being a thing, but name dropping in the TV show may just be Easter eggs

Iris.

So then the problem with Iris ISN'T the fact that she acted like Foggy in this particular situation. As Jabari said. The issue is the writers haven't figured out other things for her to do

It's canon.

I think they did a decent job of establishing that he wasn't okay with her at all, and wasn't mesmerized by her. He came up with a nickname because they were working together at Barry's insistence.

I agree the lack of security is a problem, but I think it makes more sense that they weren't able to keep the Reverse Flash out when it's been proven that he's way ahead of them as far as planning goes.

Ollie is still rich. It wouldn't be hard for him to pay for airfare. And he's been there often enough (and Flash can search an entire area fast enough) to show Barry where it is

I think the argument is that it actually had too much.

Or maybe it shouldn't have hurt him…

In previous episodes, I had missed that she'd killed the whole village. I had thought it had been Hydra who did it.

My issue with it is that it seemed to take twice as long as anyone else getting absorbed

I agree to some extent. If it's your secret, you should have the right to ask others not to share it. But like in Eddie's case, if the secret is harming him, and he hasn't been given a good reason for it to be a secret, I'm not sure I would expect him to keep it.

I think you're right. Wasn't the mention of "elders" people who sacrificed themselves for Jiaying? It would make a lot more sense for it to be old people to sacrifice themselves, rather than the people in charge. Unless there was another mention that I don't remember

One of those 20 people had the power to duplicate herself. And another of them was a teleporter. Both very useful in this situation.

Wasn't May wearing her standard issue SHIELD uniform? And I'd have to re-watch it to be sure, but Maya WAS just impersonating May, so she might have still been in that same uniform.

Jiaying's power is also reminiscent of Marvel's own Selene, who just happens to lead a group of people who willingly sacrifice themselves to keep her alive. And Selene is a mutant, so she won't be appearing in the MCU herself because of legal issues.

I'm not talking about "every bit of information".
