"You guys will never believe this…"

I think the point was they really didn't have much to work with - until the unusual state of the body was noted, according to Sherlock, there really wasn't much evidence to go on. He also said something along the lines of the police not needing him to put out an APB

Some of it's definitely skeeved me out (for many of the reasons you've mentioned), but it didn't really bother me here - it wasn't as mean, she didn't seem bothered by it, etc

You're right that everyone has moments like that occasionally in real life. You just don't usually expect it on TV.

Right. But my point is that I'm not sure a gun would fly apart like that without control. I've had some experience with guns (although never that sort of pistol), and I don't think it would work that way.

I'm a champion at risk adverse. But even the US Army doesn't
have a kill policy about enemy combatants as extreme as she sounded about random people

After she's had years of training, sure. Not when she just found out about her powers, and is freaking out about how she can't control them

Her going that whole murder kick felt wildly out of character in the first place. And now, she's not admitting she was wrong - she's trying to create an exception for her friend. Despite the fact that her friend seems to have much more dangerous powers than Raina, and has no control over them

This isn't just conflict between characters. This is Simmons acting in a way that seems very out-of-character for her. She's normally portrayed as a smart, thoughtful, caring person; not someone who would go "Kill them all! Wait, not my friend, she's different, but kill everyone else!"

You could be right. A punch, I agree, he'd be a corpse. But it seems plausible to me that a shove might not.

She's acting stupid, judgmental, and hypocritical, none of which are things I would normally expect from her character.

Exactly.

Right. After she's had lots of training from Nick Fury. That clearly hasn't happened yet in the show.

Is anyone else hating what's been going on with Simmons the last two episodes? Last week, she goes full Bolivar Trask on anyone with powers, and now, when Fitz calls her on it, she tries to claim that "it's different" with Skye, while still basically arguing the same thing

Often, I agree, but it depends on what it is. Harley Quinn was so popular, they added her to the comics, and that's fine with me.

Yeah, it really threw me for a loop

Was he punched? Or just shoved?

They've been pretty heavy-handed about that. It wasn't as bad this episode, but last episode, every single conversation that could possibly make Skye upset occurred 5 feet away from her - despite the fact that she was in quarantine.

Can vibrations even cause a gun to do that? It seemed like the sort of scene I would expect from someone with very fine control of TK, not someone who's unfamiliar with earthquake powers

If they were Skrulls, why would they care about Hunter (and the others)? Also, we JUST had a Hydra infiltration. A Skrull infiltration right now would be too soon
