I pretty much agree. But I find it amusing how many people were POd that Felicity was opposed to the begrudging team-up with Merlyn. It seems like half the people hate the team-up, and the other half hate that the first half hates the team-up.

Oh wow. Never would have picked up on it.

Yeah, that's why I don't complain about Ollie's wig. Especially in this episode with so much back-and-forth, it was one of the few easily identifiable things I could pick up on to know when things were happening.

To him, so much of life is couched in professional terms. We're still at the point where almost any non-professional considerations are a minor victory from him

I was kinda thinking that, but who stores their only gun in the kitchen?

I think she said it was for her own work, which she'd started doing separate from him

Seems like the cleanest of kills. I was waiting for Sherlock or Joan to comment on how she was almost professional in her killing. For someone who had presumably never killed before the homeless man, she was quite calm and poised, and she only shot each of her victims once, and it was instantly lethal each time.

Heh, that makes more sense.

I think it could be argued that this episode was a step in the direction of making him less "normal"

Wasn't it just last episode that Sherlock, in turning down suggested housemates, said he already knows too much about Ms Hudson's love-life?

Flagged

As someone who's spent most of his life in the Pacific Northwest, I think the climate is often one of the best things. I remember having a discussion with some acquaintances from around the country, and teasing them because they were buried in snow, but we'd had one light dusting. Or the fact that it doesn't get up to

I've always heard 'trash' and 'garbage' used interchangeably in the US

The first part would be kind of petty, IMO. She still had an important role in the show, and Kitty's gone. It's not like she was almost completely replaced for 3 seasons or something.

To me, that was the point. She's still emotionally rattled, and she made a speech that was as much to convince herself as to convince Sherlock.

A Gershon/Dormer full-out war would have been amazing, but I think it makes a little more sense this way. Dormer would just remove Gershon before Gershon even knew she was in danger, unless she was absolutely confident that she could win anyway and wanted to toy with her, which I think is hard to do when someone's in

Yeah, reading the review, I was trying to think back and see if I had gotten a little extra benefit from watching online

Well, she started to break away, but then ended up going back and was even on a mission for them when she died.

Haven't like half of them had their own spin on the continuity? Maybe it won't even matter.

Yeah, the first time I saw it in-story, it was somewhat cleverly done, and I thought it was amusing. But then they just went WAY overboard, and it was absurd.
