I think there's a good chance she feels it's completely worth it, and I'm not sure I disagree with her.

Well, if you don't know brain control is a thing, then you really wouldn't expect anything like that to happen.

My take on Sherlock's "I know where you're coming from" thing was that - in an intellectual sense, he was right. But from an emotional standpoint, he was completely off-base. Which is perfect, because that fits his character perfectly (and is something I identify with, having made the same mistake myself).

Given the couple episodes this season where things didn't really wrap up, I was willing to buy an ending that was there but felt less neat and tidy.

To me, it was only because of the knowledge that there would be a part 2 (which I only knew because of reading AV club last week). Otherwise, I could have bought a "extended wrap-up/emotional coming to grips" sort of thing"

Wasn't it that they might have to go in hard? Not that they were assuming bullets would start flying, but they were ready for it to happen

Lacking in judgment? The sister's lucky she didn't get a whole lot worse. I mean, she's aiding someone who's the lowest of scum.

It's strange, but not completely out of the realm of possibility. They already established that they really want her working there, and are willing to accommodate her wishes to make it happen.

Of course not. But she didn't (and still doesn't) know she was going to be brain controlled. We're talking about her decision making. From her point of view, she could have been thinking "I'll put up with being around this psycho if by doing so, I'm able to get what I need from him".

Should we talk about Barry Allen with his easily recognizable voice even when distorted?

You mean Sebastian Moran has left New York?

There was definitely something along those lines

Meh. Glowing computer monitors make it a lot easier to navigate. And they're used to working in the dark - their eyes probably adjust quickly.

I don't like it, but it seems easily fixable - she really was just using him to get what she wanted; the ability to stand do something about everything around her going to hell.

If Ollie had died, pretty sure that would have counted as 'on-screen'

I also liked the "sorta-hug" turns into a full-hug thing.

I KNEW I had heard of necklacing somewhere before - it was absolutely in relation to S Africa/Mandela

To me, it's felt like the comraderie's still there, but their interactions were sometimes awkward because each wasn't sure how the other might take the news of life happening

I would be okay with Ifans not coming back.

I do like Elementary's Moriarty more, but Sherlock's is starting to grow on me, and clearly still has more screen time to be developed, so I figured I'd give it a pass, for now.
