The paragraph where you talk about hope, about your hope being too situational really hit home for me. I had heard that before about love, and I had accepted that completely; but now I'm starting to wonder how many other things it might apply to, that I never thought about. We as humans tend to get too emotionally

I'm from Seattle and I <3 gluten

I'm 99% sure Sin is the name of Black Canary's semi-adopted daughter in the comics, so making her a super-villain seems dumb

He's good at what he does, and she can get the proper incentive on him. And honestly, I like it that he's portrayed as being significantly more fragile than a guy hulked up on mirakuru.

A couple episodes ago, I would have agreed (and probably been even more generous). That last episode though? In some ways may have been the worst of all.

Are you talking about on the AV club? Almost everyone I've read says either they dislike Skye, or that she's showing signs of getting better.

I got the impression that it was almost inadvertent. I think he meant it more as "we are meeting some place, let's find a better place to have fun together", and didn't really realize what that really means when he said it .

But what if you were injected with that drug against your will?

That's a good point, but I still don't entirely agree. You don't want someone super important like Fury or Hill, but you also don't want someone completely incompetent. If you're going to sink that much resources into something, you want a good return on your investment. As opposed to someone so bad they get your

I agree, I'd love to see some recognizable villains. But honestly, any halfway decent show should be able to make up at least a couple villains that are interesting, regardless of whether they existed prior to the show.

Black Widow is supposed to be renowned as pretty much the world's premier spy. It makes sense that a show about a spy agency would reference her. I haven't seen too much archery going on, so I'm not sure how they would name drop Hawkeye.

If you're gonna LMD only one guy, don't start with the incompetent guy who's only level 6

That may not mean he's any more than the camera cutting to him though, right?

Am I completely crazy? I thought earlier in the season he had shown some signs of being interested in Skye.

I can understand her falling for Ward. To her, he was an athletic, attractive guy who was good at what he did, taught her well, etc.

They may be partially hampered, but I just don't see how the vast majority of their problems can be blamed on anyone else, no matter how hard I might try.

That's fair. But I'm pretty sure most of the problems with this show go back to the writers, not the studio execs.

Whoa whoa whoa…

I'm pretty sure this is what happened. They should have actually shown the bad guy looking a bit worse for wear though

Actually, that's what bugs me the most. He was doing a good job of being careful and not trusting people in the super-secret bunker RIGHT after Hydra infiltrated everything. And then he decides to ignore the GIANT red flags from Ward, and issue him the badge.
