That article is dated May 4. The charts below are from Johns Hopkins data and are current as of June 11. You can see that infections aren’t “skyrocketing” The ones that are going up a lot, like Hawaii, Alaska etc, are all very small. Percentage-wise the increases look big, but the numbers are small compared to many

According to the site I used, deaths are averaging about 823, down from a high of around 2,200 approximately 2 months ago. Infections down about 33% from 31K to 21K in the same time frame.

The problem with this article and many like it is that they are taking a small window of time and trying to imply a trend. The

That’s why you have to look at test positive percentages. Georgia has dropped from about 14% to 6% in the last 2 weeks, so testing more and positive cases are declining. California has been pretty steady at around 5% (actually a tiny drop from 5 to 4.7) for the past 2 months. Colorado has dropped in the last 10 days

Not necessarily. As more people get infected they build antibodies that could help fight even mutated strains. Also, Italy is claiming the virus is losing potency.

Actually Logitech has had Smart Connector keyboard prior to this one. I have one for my iPad Air. It doesn’t have a track-pad but otherwise is exactly the same as this one.

Generally speaking you are right, most keyboards for iPads use BT not the connector, which is fine but I prefer the connector. It’s one less thing

Cables are cheap. I understand the desire to minimize the types of cables, but I don’t think not having a $10 Lightning cable justifies $350 for a keyboard. Plus, depending on the iPhone you have you still might have a Lightning cable and with an Android phone you might have a mini-USB.

I was looking at the iPad Pro

A flash-bang isn’t exactly an aimed projectile, it’s an area effect device. Plus it’s round and might have a tendency to roll around if it doesn’t go off.

I have the previous version of this keyboard for my iPad Air. It’s worked well for me and allows me to do a lot of work on the iPad that I would normally do on my PC. I use a Logitech mouse which is also compatible with my Windows laptop.

You can use a mouse with the iPad. And this keyboard has a trackpad so you technically don’t need a mouse, you have a pointing device.

And actually, while a Surface is quite good for a Windows machine somethings on an iPad are just as good if not better. I prefer using the Facebook app on iOS over the browser on

Amazon has the iPad at $279, that is the 32G version which is a little lite for memory in my opinion but you might make it work if you use cloud storage for the most part.

Here’s the difference you don’t seem to get. Threatening to kill someone is a proactive move. Defending oneself is a reactive move. I am no threat to you as long as you do not attack me. See the difference? Once you have established you are a threat to me, then I will defend myself using an appropriate measure of

While cleaning up your storage space is always a good idea the performance impact from full storage is far less today with SSD than it once was with spinning disk. If you don’t have spinning disk then removing files is really only for conserving space on the disk. Defragging an SSD is largely useless and can impact

Like I said, you really shouldn’t have access to firearms. First, you don’t “threaten” to kill someone. That is tantamount to manslaughter. I may peacefully stand in front of my business, armed, and never threaten or kill anyone. If I am attacked I will defend myself and maybe the attacker will get shot and maybe not.

Generally speaking a flash-bang is not “deadly” but it can cause harm if handled improperly.

If you banned these non-lethal, crowd control devices how then would you disperse large crowds? What happens when that crowd decides to disobey lawful orders to disperse and turns into a mob?

If you own any firearms, please, take them down to your local law enforcement office and turn them in. You’re fucking dangerous to yourself and the rest of us. NO, defending oneself doesn’t mean killing people. If that is what you think then you definitely should not be in possession of any firearms.

You can try to rewrite history but unfortunately for you the evidence doesn’t support your claim. YOU are the one who started the name calling, not me. Go read the thread again.

I guess it’s a good thing you’re not a cop and frankly, if you’re carrying a weapon and thinking about how you can kill people you probably shouldn’t have a weapon. I never think about how I can kill someone when I carry. I think about defending myself should someone decide to violently attack me.

I think most cops

You know this from personal, first-hand experience?

Since when are cops supposed to prioritize your well being over their own? There’s no basis for that and in fact the Supreme Court has ruled that cops have no duty to protect you much less sacrifice themselves for your safety.

I take it you don’t own any firearms. So,

Operative word is non-lethal. Naturally any device that “explodes” can be lethal when used or handled incorrectly.

Maybe, I can’t say as I wasn’t there. There are times when you need non-lethal crowd control unless you think we should bring in the tanks and storm troopers.
