Well, a specific jet could be “cheap” in comparison to other jets in that class of aircraft.

A) it’s not a grenade and B) it’s launched into a crowd so how do you know it went off or not?

Yes I think it is. Sure, if it’s just a Sunday pick-nick and people are causally hanging out then it should be no problem. But consider, in the middle of a chaotic riot, you’re firing at crowds of people, moving in all directions. It might be at night and dark. There could be fires and smoke (or smoke bombs) being set

No argument about when to use or not use them. Just saying that if used, finding unexploded shells might not be particularly easy.

I suppose they could paint them yellow and put happy faces on them.

Maybe a warning, do not touch this explosive, would be appropriate. I don’t think you want to make them brightly colored which might entice someone to think it’s a toy. Perhaps a black/yellow striping would make them easier to locate but not

If you’re talking about police, I’d suggest you give it a try and then tell me it’s not work.

With all due respect, do you think it’s easy to know where all those rounds went and if they went off? I think they should do a sweep of the area after dispersing a crowd but I can see where it would be easy to miss something.

They actually are out there. There have been several reports of armed citizens standing out front of businesses to prevent them from being ransacked.

I don’t live in that local area but I did give you a list of the local businesses that were damaged. You are the one who didn’t know what businesses were impacted. Go back and read your original post. Let me refresh your memory:

You continue to try and dehumanize the people behind these businesses. These aren’t large corporations, they are small, locally owned businesses. Will these riots bring back the dead? And how high does the body count have to go to satisfy you?

Most of the people rioting and looting don’t give 2 shits about Floyd and

This is one owner out of many and as I can see you’ve never owned your own business I’ll tell you $100,000 isn’t going to go far when you have to rebuild buildings and buy all new equipment and try to get your business restarted. And did every small business that was damaged or destroyed get a Go-Fund-Me?

Sorry but

I simply do not agree. The Boston Tea Party was a specific and targeted protest, it wasn’t randomly roaming the streets and smashing windows and burning businesses.

Riots didn’t change America. The reasons people rioted are what changed us. I fully understand why people are angry, scared and frustrated and why some

I gave you examples which you cannot refute so you make light of them? How about this source? Is that up to your standards?

And you talk about being concerned for people, who the heck do you think owns those small businesses? Who do you think works there? Maybe this article will give you some idea that there are real

Don’t know where you got that idea. Violence does not justify violence. The fact you seem to think that the rioting and looting is justified says a lot. It’s not justified and never will be.

I get MLK a lot more than you think. I lived in the south in the 60s. I know what happened their first hand. I didn’t just pull a quote out of a book.

By the way, if you want another King quote here’s one for you “Let me say as I’ve always said, and I will always continue to say, that riots are socially destructive

No one is condoning the actions of the Police here. And people are more than justified to be mad about what happened. But that doesn’t justify violence, especially against innocent bystanders aka business owners.

What do you do for a living? Do you understand the basic concept of a business? Yes, large corporations have better insurance than most small businesses and many of them are prepared for certain losses. How do you think those losses are paid for? By the prices you and I pay when shopping there! Businesses just don’t

I showed you 2 pictures of small businesses that were damaged. Here’s another one for you

Yeah, I remember all those riots MLK led back in the day.
