I suspect, though I can’t speak for Bezos personally, that Amazon feels it’s tax dollars won’t benefit them as much as pumping that money directly into local programs and services that would benefit them.

Not to mention the $5B they said they would invest locally. I wonder where that money is going now?

I understand why you feel the way you do and I’m not discounting that. The thing is we have “straight” characters that do all sorts of things in stories but no one talks about their sexuality or sexual preferences. It’s info we don’t need nor care about. I’m saying, apply the same standard to any character, gay or

It seems more so than the recent movies. I mean there’s a bit of “flirting” here and there but no real “love” interest. Not like the Han/Leia relationship.

One could argue that it was relevant to the story line, especially after the reveal that they are brother and sister. I don’t recall every kissing scene but what I do recall is the one before the bridge “swing/jump” which is a kiss for luck and the other is after Luke blows up the Death Star. I would say the kisses

In regards to your last statement. Yes, that is true, no question. But usually, not always, that is depicted such that it kind of makes sense. Like when Rhett Butler kissed Scarlet O’Hara.

That’s a scene from a different time and place. It was relevant in that case as Padme was Luke’s mother. It helps explain why Luke is Luke.

The obvious question is this. Since Humans failed to control global warming why don’t the machines just push everything over the edge? I mean, they don’t need oxygen or organic nourishment so if they kill off the planet then the humans would die off. There won’t be a John Connor to send back because he and the rest of

Not sure what you’re trying to say but according to this site the government is indeed funding research.

It’s all grown at Ole Miss, or the University of Mississippi. But according to their web site they do grow different varieties.

Not according to this site

You know little about me and you’ve misrepresented what I’ve been saying. I have never said, “just go get a better job”. I’ve said we need programs to train people to get skills so they can get better jobs. Why do you have a problem with people getting skills so they can be successful?

Either way, it’s not “illegal” to research pot and there are several research organizations based in US University programs that do medical marijuana research. I’m sure more could be done and the Government isn’t making it easy.

Nope, a quick Google search will reveal several medical marijuana research organizations in the US.

Difficult, not illegal.

I don’t think it’s illegal to research it. You just have to jump through more hoops to get “legal” supplies of marijuana. Aren’t we researching cocaine and meth and other illegal drugs?

WTF? Where did that question come from? Who is talking about illegals or working or anything other than why people like living in Arizona?

It could be because they are good hideouts. They didn’t call them the Hole in the Wall gang for nothing.

Low taxes and good Mexican food.

Unfortunately we didn’t see the end of that clip but I’m guessing it ends like a lot of Stormtrooper gun fights in that the projectiles never seem to hit their targets.
