Not necessarily. What works in a video game on a small screen may not work on the big screen. Look at Death Stranding, it got all sorts of rave reviews for it’s cinematic feel but the game play sucked. The converse of that is the many video game movies that just fell short.

Are you stupid or what? Nice attempt at editing what I wrote. Here is what I wrote, in it’s entirety, “You can say my opinion is a lie but you can never ever prove that.”

No, I said an opinion can not be proven to be a lie. You can say it all you want and people may believe you, but that doesn’t change the simple fact that my opinion is mine and it will never be a lie.

Dude, next time you’re in Vegas buy some edibles and take them on the plane with you. You are seriously way too stressed about other people standing up. In fact take 3 or 4 of them right before landing and ask the Flight Attendant for a wheel chair pickup. That way you will be really relaxed and definitely will be the

Oh and read my other post. I know FB doesn’t validate advertising because I have reported several ads to them and they still circulate on FB even though they are scams.

But you said that Platform owners ensure that all other ad types are legit on their page, didn’t you?

Please read up on Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. See why outlets like Yahoo, Yelp, Trip Advisor and many other online sites do not validate any user postings.

I’ve heard it, doesn’t make it true. See? My opinion is my opinion. I like chocolate ice cream and my opinion is that chocolate is better than vanilla. You will never prove that this is a lie, ever. You can say my opinion is a lie but you can never ever prove that. So, no, I am not wrong and when it comes to my

Well how some people perceive feelings and opinion doesn’t make them “facts”. And yes, I agree that what you say is true in that people conflate facts with opinions and this is propagated via online and broadcast media on a daily basis.

And do you suppose this article is the one and only source of discussion on this topic? Sorry bro, you need to get out more and listen to the broader discussion about online censorship. Plus, the Trump comment wasn’t about government regulation, it was about having someone you detest being the deciding factor in what

The point of consumer product comparison is that not all advertising is “factual” as I pointed out. Much like political advertising. And no, Facebook and many other outlets do NOT apply standards to other types of ads. I know this first hand because I bought a product through a Facebook ad that purposefully

It’s not like I haven’t heard that before. LOL

While I get your point, a fact cannot be disputed. A fact is observable and measurable. Everything else is opinion, theory, feelings or beliefs. Nothing wrong with having those and expressing them (notable exception Hate Speech). Censoring them, on the other hand, does come with some risk.

Well that’s an easy fix and could even be automated.

Not a play here?

But FB won’t give me cancer and kill me. And I’ve been told the dangers of tobacco so if I use it I know the risks I’m taking.

In a way it’s no different than TV advertising. How many times have you heard that Tide will get your clothes whiter than white? Do you really believe that?

I understand that completely. Since I’ve had an iPhone for many years the iPad wasn’t that unfamiliar. I like it for what it does and it’s a useful travelling companion for movies, music and books among other things.

Thinkpads are pretty tough machines. I’ve had one in the past but most of my recent company supplied laptops are Dells/HP. I tend to like the Dells better but the HPs are cheaper (hence why my current company gave me one).

Not sure where you live but I live near Seattle and see lot’s of Surfaces in the wild. To be fair, they are probably mostly Microsoft people. Most companies don’t want to shell out the added cost of a Surface when a decent Dell or HP would be a few hundred less and still have the same CPU/memory/storage.
