Yeah the homeless are just innocent victims
Yeah the homeless are just innocent victims
This is a bit of a blanket statement because to become (drug) addicts they have broken the law by using illegal drugs (I am purposefully not including alcohol addiction). Many continue that life of crime in order to sustain their addictions through prostitution or petty property crimes.
Memphis has a significantly higher violent crime rate and property crime rate than Seattle. And they are also much higher than the national average too.
You are one stupid fuck, aren’t you? Where did I use Fox news as an example of “what to do”? Why don’t you grow up and come back with some reasoned arguments instead of your insults and false accusations?
Some people make mistakes, I get that. But even the Chinese names from the plane crash wasn’t a mistake. That was someone writing copy for the on-air reporter having a little fun at their expense. However, this is very different from what Williams did. The Chinese names was done in jest, though we could argue over…
The law of he has more than me so we should punish him.
Not according to this site. Seattle is on par for murder with the rest of the US, lower in rape and higher in robbery (2x) and assault 1.5x).
True, but at one time he was selling himself as a newsman. The point is he lied. He didn’t make a “mistake” as another poster claims. He lied, multiple times.
Why do you think they are “captive”. You don’t suppose they could watch CNN or ABC or any other channel?
Native heritage? Have you been paying attention? The DNA test pretty much squashed that lie. I probably have as much African American in my DNA as Warren had Native American, but you don’t see me going around claiming to be a Black Man.
I don’t think Brian Williams saying he saw dead bodies floating down the street after Katrina was a mistake. I don’t think Donna Brazile colluding with Hillary’s campaign was a mistake. And if you need a couple more examples, was it a mistake when Time made OJs face darker? Or when NBC altered the Zimmerman 911 tapes?
which are generally viable sources for news without an express agenda
It’s definitely a business. And, it seems, a business that has lost its moral compass. We live in an instant-on world. If it takes more than 30 secs to get what I need I’m moving on. And, you better keep me interested or I’m gonna go watch some reality show instead.
My personal opinion is that ever since Woodward and Bernstein took down the White House every 2-bit reporter in America has been trying to one-up them, with no luck.
Mistakes? OK, if that’s how you see them. I’m pretty sure Brian Williams didn’t “mistake” seeing dead bodies, did he? As for Donna Brazile, it’s about honesty. If she’s willing to skew a Presidential debate what won’t she do?
No, that’s called begging for forgiveness. Let’s go throw some shit out there and if someone calls us on it we can always act surprised and backtrack.
Are they? Sure, I’ll give you “most” because there are tons of news outlets around the world. But, let’s just look at ABC, NBC and CBS. Let’s see we have, the ABC fake bombing, the CBS fake Bush documents and the NBC fake dead bodies floating down Bourbon St. Oh, and how about Donna Brazile from CNN giving Hillary the…
I believe the regulations have a lot more to do with contents of the product (e-juice) and who can and can’t buy the product (people under 21). There should be other consumer protection regulations in place for the batteries but who knows how closely those are monitored.
Thanks, for some reason when I first read the article I didn’t notice the header picture was a video.
No, I’m talking about commercial products in the US. I can’t speak to how other countries are regulating e-cigs. But here in the US, the FDA only took those products on in 2016.
