I don’t know that I would call it “difficult”. It’s just turning off the service. On the other hand, scheduling them is very easy, you select the window you don’t want updates not to happen in (up to 18 hours). That’s the same whether you’re using Home or Pro.

Any conflicts using a BT mouse and headset at the same time? I do a lot of customer calls via Teams or Skype and like to use my BT headset.

I have to agree. When mobile it would be nice to have more ports but a simple USB C hub solves that and is easy to carry. At home it’s a non-issue because I use a hub along with additional monitors and sometimes a full sized keyboard which has it’s own USB ports.

The Bluetooth keyboard. It’s a little unclear from the pics but from what I understand the keyboard is a separate device and in the pictures they show it sitting on top of the second screen which is just one way it can be used.

You can turn off updates in Win 10 by turning off the update service. You can also easily set the times updates are done and you can defer updates by up to 35 days if you want. It’s not all that hard to do.

thanks, that’s sort of what I thought but wasn’t sure.

Exactly my first though. Let’s see how it’s priced when it hits the shelves this Christmas. But $1K for ARM when I can get a decent Core i5, 8G, 256G SSD Windows machine for under $1,000?

Not sure I understand your reply. We’re talking about eliminating these low paying jobs which would create unemployed people. You said “employ them” but I asked if there were better paying jobs available why wouldn’t they already be getting those jobs? Because they are not rational? You mean they are too dumb to know

That’s why I said “legal” business. No one is suggesting anything other than that.

To be honest, I can’t tell who is who in this video. I see people dressed in black, some look like policemen and some don’t. Mostly what I see is chaos and people with sticks and pipes fighting with police.

It might be a couple months before they get one out for the new model. I was able to use the keyboard for the 10.5 Pro with the new iPad Air which is also 10.5 inches. I paid $74 for mine. There are other BT Logitech keyboards that are under $100, some as low as $30.

I don’t draw on the iPad, except for random doodles, but I understand what you mean by “feels cramped”. I have the new iPad Air, I love it and the fact that it has the keyboard port. But there are days where I wish I had a slightly larger screen. I use my iPad as a secondary screen for my Windows laptop and a 12.9

I’d definitely go with the larger storage capacity, but I’d opt for the Logitech keyboard. Less expensive and better, IMHO. If you want to go cheaper you could get a BT keyboard for even less money.

When you’re swinging a metal pipe at an officer he’s pretty much justified in shooting you.

Did you look at that video? It was hard to tell from the video who was charging whom. There’s no context as to what happened prior to the small video clip presented here. Clearly the rioters were throwing things, including a Molotov cocktail at the officers. And they were putting themselves in danger with the whole

I think your opening line sort of positioned you as a fan boy. It had an anti-Apple feel to it. Not saying you are, just that your post gave off some anti-Apple vibes.

1. Why not? They have a CPU, RAM, storage, a touch screen, IO via cellular or on-board connector and they have an OS. I would think that in general it cost more to make smaller components or to develop integrated components that go into devices like phones. I see no reason they shouldn’t cost $500-1000 depending on

I’ve had this vision for years. A “phone” device that is portable but when I come home I drop it into a dock and my full keyboard and touch screen 28" monitor are now attached.

I suspect it would be hard to take a call on your home computer while you’re driving to work in the morning. And it’s probably going to be a bit of a challenge to pull out your home computer, find a plug in and get directions to the coffee shop you’re looking for.

That’s not really a fair comparison is it? When someone buys a car they usually look at competing brands. Buying a smartphone (or computer) is different because you have a separate investment in applications and maybe accessories running on the phone or computer. I would hazard a guess that most people upgrade to the
