For us it’s bears. We live in a rural area but not exactly waaaay out in the country. We have mountain lions, bears, coyotes and the usual deer and such. One of my employees came home one night thinking someone was sitting on her porch, turns out it was a bear. A few honks of the car horn and the bear ran off. 

Where I live is a fairly rural area. We have a lot of petty crimes here, mostly theft by drug users. We get a lot of mailbox theft, so much I finally put a locking mailbox up.

I get your point but I think it’s a bit of a moot point. We cannot change the laws of gravity but we can defeat them by using other laws, like aerodynamics or physics.

The real question is why do women need to cover up.

I think you missed the whole point that earth is a single point of failure. That’s the economic and societal reasons for getting people off the planet, not tourism. That will come later.
