Depending on where you live you may have to get a background check even if it’s a private party sale. And the same holds true for gun shows. If a licensed dealer is selling at a gun show you will get a background check regardless of where you live.

Every licensed gun seller has to do a background check. The only exception is private party sales. People who are actively buying and selling guns without a license can be prosecuted, although it’s not all that common.
So if criminals won’t follow the restrictions, what purpose will they serve?
There are a lot of questions here. My uninformed assessment is that the cops acted to quickly as they have done in the past. I can understand their concern for a person running around with a firearm but they should have assessed that situation before firing. That is the main issue here.
Why? You’re happy to have them guard the airport, the bank, government buildings, sports stadiums, business campuses. Why not schools where your children are unarmed targets?
Do you think a criminal will follow the permit law and not carry a firearm if he’s prohibited?
Stop playing the victim.
I hope he doesn’t brake anything while being towed.
And why shouldn’t they call someone out, regardless of party affiliation, when they are doing something suspect? As much as Democrats rail against big business this is tantamount to her saying she’s leaving the party and going Republican.
Spoken like a true hypocrite. If this were a republican you’d be screaming bloody murder and you know it.
But that’s just it. You don’t know that someone has signed you up for a credit card and is waiting by your mailbox to grab the card when it comes in. Unless you’ve signed up for one of the online identity protection services which are supposed to notify you if someone is signing you up for credit cards.
Not that I’m any kind of expert but I did see that the National Institute on Drug Abuse has endorsed saliva testing as an alternative to other forms of testing.
There is also hair and saliva tests.
I think that is now true to a certain extent but wasn’t true when pot first became legal. The initial cost of “legal” pot was somewhat high, pun intended. It has dropped significantly in the past year. 500mg oil cartridges which once went for $35-50 are selling below $20 now.
But isn’t or wasn’t the music industry pretty formulaic? We’ve heard the stories over and over, musician X gets rejected by record company goes to smaller recording studio produces smash hit, life is good, main singer/guitar player/drummer etc dies.
I’m sorry but that is just a false statement. I don’t work for Costco but I am a customer and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with them. Want to return something? Easy as pie. Can’t find something? Ask an employee and they will walk you right to it.
Oh fuck off with the Republican comments. What’s wrong with putting profits first if you are a corporation? That’s what a corporation is, a for profit business. My guess is you’ve never owned your own business and don’t understand the basic concept that in order to sustain a business you need to make a profit. And if…
Why is this “racist”? You do realize that in addition to Queen Latifah and other black women there were other “plus size” white women who also did rom-coms before Wilson. Seems to me it’s racist to make this only about Black women who have done similar movies. In fact, I bet if we look at movies outside the US there…
Yeah, I didn’t pay $60 for the model I bought. As I recall it was more like $25-30 which I felt was a bargain compared to a $75-100+ full blown electric razor.

I noted in the article that you said “She told them exactly what happened.” and also “because Gonzalez questioned her, made statements about the color of his skin, was “becoming argumentative,”
