They did get this right. The only mistake they made was giving people the option to dive a little deeper if they want to. By doing the right thing and giving people an option they opened themselves up to disingenuous whining.

Agree, the behind the scene nomenclature is for the teams to manage. I only care what tires they use in comparison of the competition for that particular weekend.
Yeah this doesn’t seem that complicated. Once I saw the chart I thought, “That’s it?! What’s so difficult to understand about that??”
If there were ever proof of the axiom that “if it exists, Formula 1 fans will complain about it”, this is it. They’ve literally done exactly what people have asked in simplifying the presentation of the tires, and of course we have to be upset about the behind the scenes nomenclature now.
I'm truly sorry for insulting your heroes.
Splinter as a whole should be on here. It's hate reading, but with a few reasonable commenters.
I think it takes immense leadership and ingenuity to get where Roger Penske has gotten. He’s a true racer who turned a team into an empire. No skill involved at all though.
Seriously. Maybe the guy knows he doesn’t have what it takes to be a driver and aspires to contribute to the sport in the way he’s best suited. What a tool, right?
I’m sorry but if you don’t understand why someone for example might idolize Roger Penske for example I’m not sure you should be writing takes on racing.
The year was 1988. I cane home from college and went to a local semi-pro hockey game. They were running a promotion where three people were chosen to compete to win fried chicken by shooting pucks into an empty net. My program # was chosen.
If the afterlife is real, he'll have a lot to answer for, having been the head of the CIA, but damn if I wouldn't have his brand of Republicanism instead of the mutated version we suffer under today. I can at least deal with the elder Bush. It wasn't as if every day was a constant battle against the forces of evil.…
The odds of Mueller testing whether it is constitutional to indict a sitting president over some low grade campaign finance law violations is pretty damn low.
Trump’s punishment is the shame he has to live with for hurting Melatonin and others that he loves with his actions................Ha, ha, ha. Sorry I just couldn’t help myself
Tyler Florence also has a really good French Onion soup recipe that I’d highly recommend. Pretty easy to do, too.
HRC pulled the “Uh oh, better pivot to working class white people” strategy in 2008 against Obama. Obviously that didn’t work. Bernie, with the benefit of having seen HRC screw it up, went right down that exact same unproductive road and two years later still seems to be traveling down it.
pulling for you. i hope it’s obvious I’ve been pulling all you good guys/gals out of the gray as much as I can.
He was DYING to go there. You could tell because he started with the pointing and the repeating, and every time he said “racist” he meant “n——-”.
Counterpoint: Jon Tester won.
Ah, I misunderstood. You’re absolutely right. Every nominee advanced at every level is going to be terrible and will get approved. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump doesn’t go back and run some of the nominees that failed the first time because they were unqualified. It would be just like him to keep attacking it…
I live in Indiana. Republicans didn’t like Donnelly because it was Democrat. Democrats didn’t like him because he was a republican lite.
