Thank you, sir. Yeah, I was actually a lil bummed to see that the A class wasnt as “budget” as they had it hyped to be... Biggest Merc dealer in Denver only has 3-4 CLA250 models and they are all, i think, marked UP to $43K-ish.

Every dealership near me (80215) has an A-class 220 (CLA250 is about $43K) for at the very least $41K + D&H. Base GTI for $25K. Autobahn GTI is about $32K. So, for price comparison, you should be looking more at a Golf R at $42K. And to compare a 250 to a R is a fool’s errand.
