Interesting... I imagined a high wattage element type heater would burn through a battery pack in no time. Does the heat work off the battery cooling or something. I am genuinely curious.

Aaand a take of gas runs an idling engine for a very, very long time when ran to just keep you warm. Experience speaking here. Try and do the same with any electric car for the foreseeable future and your results may be horrible.

I am all for progress. Let me get that out of the way. But pushing so hard on electric cars is progress for the sake of progress (and that must be discouraged!)

I was correcting myself. Yeah, the McRae series was in 1995. The 22B didn’t come along for a couple years. I didn’t realize how many special editions were made:

I was just thinking I should have said something like “Kinda both...” as the cars the Subaru Team and Prodrive were making and how they handed production seemed to change monthly through the 90s - Because: Race-car. There are a few very different cars with the 22B name stuck to them. Example: Those 200 Colin McRae
