It depends on what you are doing - if you are doing something disk intensive, normally SSDs do use more power. Or was it other way around? They get a crappier ZL1 IF they handover the money they get from the Insurance to the dealership. And they don't get to keep the 5 grand, because it is to cover the new wheels and extras (because the ZL1 is not identical to the original).

They were offered the insurance money from their personal insurance, not the dealerships. I would say that The dealership should be the one paying up, not the personal insurance.
