My best was $150 for my 8GB iPhone 3G. This happened last october (sold the backup phone I kept). I expected like 90 for it (it was unlocked by AT&T and jailbroken by me).

Same here. There is only a difference of $30 at most between selling before and after (most times $10 will do). That is worth for using the phone until i have another. Most price drop for 4S has already occurred since it is a year old and people know a new one is near.

You could easily get that much in Craigslist, but I don't think any such services is going to even offer you $250.

But then you will be spending next month (or more) without the phone. I would rather use the phone and sell it for slightly less.

I expect $350-$420 for a 16GB 4S on craigslist depending on condition.

the 4 had a huge shortage as I remember but not the 4S.

Even if it is a 2 year old 16GB or a year old 8GB, I would expect at least $250 for one in 'good' condition (flawless display, few tiny scratches on the steel band/back, and a working charger).

I consider 720p videos as HD but don't consider 720p TV's as HD (phones are different).

I have owned the top devices of both Apple and Samsung (currently 4S and S3) for nearly 3 years now as my personal and business phones respectively. Except for the first Galaxy , S2 and S3 has been of similar quality of my iPhones. They are of really high quality and the S2 took a lot more hurt than my 4.

My Blackberry OS10 Developer device laughs at your Rezound with 355ppi. Rezound? LOL

I got mine from BestBuy - they were offering 20% off on every digital delivery iTunes gift cards ($15-$100). I got a $100 and still got like $45 of that left.

Sold one in Craigslist (after unlocking it with Cydia+ultrasn0w) for $130 a day after I got iPhone 4S on launch day (last October). Mine had few scratches on the back, no charger. You could probably get about $90 now I think (on craigslist)

Amazon gives $100 more and its credit is more useful than that of BestBuy. Only thing I got from BestBuy this year is $40 for an $50 iTunes gift card digital delivery.

There are 30pin audio out cables available - I have been using those for years

I think that was a poke at acer. As far as I have noticed, their hardware is pretty crap. My dad's friend got a desktop which started to fall apart after the warranty ended.

I have never had any problem with any electronics (not that I couldn't fix for <$50 - which was a MB battery which had like 600 cycles - got an open box genuine from amazon). No problem at all with phones except a silent toggle button that broke off an iPhone 3G (I kept it as a backup until last year when i sold it

Damn, I was happily sleeping believing it had been scrapped or stripped apart.

So..... insurance scam? ;)

That only works only if external monitor is attached. This is for without an external monitor attached.

It is probably their back up plan.
